August 2nd

The day saw us in the dizzy heights of Division 2 and after studying the seed times of our division competitors it was apparent we would not be in the rosettes.  Undaunted we set ourselves the target of getting Daisy and Harry their 200 points and the title 'Flyball Dog'.  We started with Millie as height dog and Harry running third.  We were all thrilled when he completed his first run successfully.  Emma soon lost her nerves and started enjoying our time in the ring.  After two races we felt we could replace Millie with Daisy and again she didn't falter.  By the end of the morning Harry had his 200 points with Daisy gaining hers in the afternoon.  Peter had a run with Amber on the last leg of the day and was faultless as we thought she would be.  We enjoyed some tight racing but as expected we came sixth in our division.  We were not disappointed as we now have two new division dogs and hope to have the Hot Shots up and running in time for Howden.  Daisy enjoyed the day so much she has written a blog.
