The sun was cracking the Kellington cobbles when Sue and John
set off for Middlesbrough but by the time they had got to there a sea
fret had set in and it was considerably colder. However Phil was cooking
up breakfast as they arrived so tea and BESTOs raised everybody's spirits.
The first races of the morning were the starters and although we raced well we
were up against teams that should really be moving on to Division.
Starters were followed straight away by our Division team who were again running
with a declared time of 21 seconds. Stan managed this well by tempering
Megan's cross overs, this however got us few wins so when we entered the last
race of the day we decided to go for broke and do some real racing as we were
not in for a rosette. We again got disqualified but finished with a best
time of 19.88 seconds. On a positive note Daisy made her debut in the main
team when she replaced Millie as height dog for the first race of the afternoon,
she didn't put a paw wrong and Sue, her handler, was delighted.

You never know what will turn up next at flyball and Middlesbrough turned out to be no exception as we were all 'Shake 'n Macked'. Graham Mack a DJ on TFM Radio is aiming to gain a world record by shaking the hand of 100,000 people. We wish him well in his venture and to find out more here's a link to the station. TFM Radio
