We could not have asked for a better start to the season with a
win in Division Two in the starters tournament. A combination a great
weather, fantastic venue and an excellent debut for Finnegan and Harry, combined
with great back up from Foster with Rocky from The Crazy's, saw us not just in
the rosettes but Division winners. Well done Finnegan and Harry, first
time out, it doesn't get any better.
Phil has spent a year getting Finnegan ready for competition, there were times early on when we thought will he ever do it? But Phil has persevered and the effort has paid off, well done. Harry is one year old so he will spend the outdoor season in starters, probably running in Division at Rossington in November, again well done Emma. Just how long Foster will race in starters we don't know as he can and does run in Division. Rocky will be joining us in starters at Drax, it will be good to see Debbie again.

The day didn't start too well as Foster ran out in the first two races, Carole decided to pull Foster and run Megan. This proved fruitful as we had a good days racing with some tight finishes. We ended the day with a second place rosette so we have had a very good start to the season. Carole has decided to keep Foster in starters for the time being which is good news for Finnegan, Harry and Rocky, we should earn more rosettes with an excellent starter team. Sue and John had a colourful incident in the afternoon when they were walking round the show with Millie and Daisy. As they passed one stall Daisy grabbed a hat that was for sale and decided to trash it! Dogs, don't you just love them.
