Rachael and Garry set up home together back in 2000 and immediately they got Tessa who is supposed to be a Collie Cross but looks a little like Alsation cross Doberman but very soft natured.
In 2005 Garry had been nattering for another dog and whilst wandering around the Game Fair at Carlton Towers Rachael finally gave in and said OK but I want one of them (some sort of Terrier), Garry did no more than to ask the guy what breed of dog he had. Garry & Rachael then set out trying to find a Patterdale Terrier and 2 weeks later came across CoCo.
They enquired at the Selby Game Fair about joining another team doing flyball but did not get any response, Garry finally found us as he is one not to give up easily (as Rachael will tell you) and the rest is history as they say.
Tessa runs occasionally just for a bit of fun but given she is nearly eight years old tires quickly so will not make it in competitions but still enjoys her runs out. CoCo however is very keen and always brings the ball back, after six weeks training she entered her first starter competition and came away with a team first place.
Garry works as a purchasing manager and Rachael as a Accounts Clerk, both are mad about animals and are keen motor racing fanatics, Rachael became a National Champion in 2001 in the sport of Autograss racing and hopes CoCo is as successful in flyball as Rachael is at racing.
