Chris and Ken joined the team shortly after it was founded by Carole and Stan.

Tara who is a border collie cross came late into flyballing at the age of 3, and they have to admit that after a year in starters they began to think she would never become a flyball dog, but Stan said "I've never had a failure yet and I'm not starting now!" and he was right, after another 6 months she suddenly realised what flyballing was all about and she's never looked back since.

She may not be the fastest member of the team, but she's reliable and she gained her Intermediate Dog Flyball certificate at Bakewell in 2005, she then gained her Flyball Graduate Certificate at Middlesborough in 2007 something Chris and Ken never thought she would achieve, so they are really proud of her.

Ziggy is Chris & Ken's new addition to the family. He is a border collie, and his Mum is Claire's dog Breeze, who incidentally is also Mum to Foster, Carole and Stan's collie - it's called keeping it in the family!

Ziggy is already mad keen on charging after a tennis ball, sometimes bringing it back, but so far flatly refusing to let it out of his vice like jaw - but at least he enjoys playing with a ball which bodes well for flyballing.

Ken will be Ziggy's handler when he eventually starts his flyball training with Chris as our Box Loader. She says that although box loading is a hazardous pursuit, it's nothing like as stressful as running a dog in a competition so she is very happy for Ken to take on the job.

As for Chris and Ken, they are both now retired and thoroughly enjoy the leisure time to spend gardening, walking, reading and sharing the odd bottle of wine or two with friends!
