Holly was a founder member of both Hillam Hot Dogs, Wizzers of Ouse,& Yorkshire Bouncers.

She really enjoyed her flyball. In fact she was a flyball maniac. She absolutely loved the sport. In fact, she did not think much to running once per race. She would turn back for another ball if she heard the click made by the box loader inserting the next ball.

Holly retired about 2 years ago and became the founder member of The Veterans.  However she still helped out those pesky youngsters in Starters showing them how it's done. As she became older jumping became difficult and Stan & Carole decided that enough was enough and it was time  for her to retire.

She died on the 7th March 2010 aged 12and a half. We are certain she would have lived a few more years if she had not been tempted by a  tasty corn cob that she ate, un noticed. By the time she showed any adverse symptoms it was too late for the vet to save her

In 2005 Garry had been nattering for another dog and whilst wandering around the Game Fair at Carlton Towers Rachael finally gave in and said OK but I want one of them (some sort of Terrier), Garry did no more than to ask the guy what breed of dog he had. Garry & Rachael then set out trying to find a Patterdale Terrier and 2 weeks later came across CoCo.

CoCo was what may quite easily described as a character, but that would be to under estimate her. She picked up the basics quite easily but steadfastly refused to return over the jumps in the blue lane. She therefore shared her runs with Daisy who had a similar aversion to the red lane.

Coco gained  had gained her Flyball Dog  and Intermediate certificates  and overcame her blue lane aversion  when she tragically was struck down with meningitis ( a very rare condition in dogs). After a touch and go period it was thought that she was on the road to recovery. The vet ,however, put a stop to her flyball career. Tragically within a few weeks the meningitis returned and CoCo died on 24th March 2010 aged 5.

Tara joined Hillam Hot Dogs shortly after it was formed and  it has to be said that she took quite sometime to master the art of flyballing, three years in fact!  However once she had mastered it she absolutely loved it and rarely put a paw wrong.   Never a dog to bark before she learnt to flyball, once she was in the arena she never stopped and her party piece was jumping up and down in her excitement as she waited to race, thankfully just missing Ken's nose in the process.

Tara retired 2 years ago and joined Holly as the second member of The Veterans.  She still loved to go along to practice and bark encouragement to the youngsters learning the art, and on occasions joined them in Starters.

She died on 6th July 2010 aged 12 years.   She was diagnosed with a tumour on her liver in the afternoon and had a fatal stroke that same evening.
